The mascot for this event is the Aardvark. The Aardvark holds a significant place for dictionary learners and scrabble players; as it is the first word in the Oxford dictionary and most other dictionaries.
The Aardvark is a South African mammal with a long snout (nose) and tongue; that eats insects (ants and termites). It is also called the Earth pig.

The Future
The children (pupils) are the future. They are the hopes we all look up to. They are the ones who will find cure for cancer and sickle cell anaemia. They are the ones who will put Nigeria's flag on the moon.
They are the leaders of tomorrow; Leaders who will show forth the light wherever they find themselves. They deserve the best and nothing less. This behoves us as teachers and facilitators' to put in our very best knowing we are raising the opportunities of the next generation.

"We know what they are, but not what they may be"

William Shakespeare

Chrisland is going the extra mile already in make sure the children get a well rounded (complete) education. Taekwondo, ballet, swimming, music, the elections, scrap palace, diction, internet, ICT, library, dance, science, sports, chess and Scrabble all go a long way in the complete development of children and adults alike.
In this age of self awareness, we cannot keep doing things the same way and expect a different result. If we are going to have graduates; who will invent software, drugs or state-of-the-art medical procedure then we would have to do something differently.

This something different, is already been done by Chrisland. By bringing innovative and creative teaching and learning into the classroom is Chrisland is setting the pace.
More so, making it competitive with the WASTFS is taking it the extra mile - in the true Chrisland spirit.
It was Albert Einstein who said "to do something the same way all the time and expect a different result is another definition of insanity".
